I'm the founder and CEO of Resin, where we're building generative instruments for music production. We're in beta with a small group of producers right now.
I started playing drums and piano as a toddler, and music has been the center of my life ever since. After playing a ton of classical piano throughout childhood and early adulthood, I studied jazz piano and drums at the New England Conservatory, and went on to do a PhD in cognitive science at MIT in Josh Tenenbaum's lab, where I worked on how humans learn and reason so effectively from limited experience — and how to build AI systems that can do the same. Before MIT, I studied philosophy at Columbia.
Some things I love: Chopin's third sonata, Missy Elliott collabs, eating a lamb chop on a Greek island, five on five in the park.
